The second week of #UrbanCultureWeek – program will witness a unique collaboration between Red Bull Kuwait and Art Space presenting two unique artists all the way from Brazil & Dubai (Blue Cave). You can find all details about the workshops and link for registration.
IN THIS WORKSHOP FERNANDO CHAMARELLI WILL SHOW how to paint a mural using HIS TECHNIQUE OF GEOMETRY / symmetry style inspired by the MYSTICAL SOUTH AMERICA tribes. WITH 1 HOUR INTRODUCTION , HE WIL BE SHOWING MUSICS, IMAGES AND SENSORIAL EXPERICIES THAT BUILT HIS STYLE and 2 hours of painting practice.
BIO: Fernando Chamarelli is an artist and illustrator with a degree in graphic design. His early interest with art was through comics, caricatures and realistic portraits only to leave way to street art and tattoo art. All these very different aspect of the art world fueled his inspiration and he naturally felt the need the merge aspects of these techniques in order to develop his own visual signature. His country, Brazil, is a multicultural melting pot, a place of contrasts ripe with color and music – it is a constant source of inspiration to Fernando’s work. His universe of fantasies and sensorial stimulation revolves around ten pillars: spirituality, mysticism, history, symbolism, mythology, philosophy, astrology, occultism, anthropology and geometry.
With a brief introduction on indigenous tribes and nature of amazon rain florets, Tarsila will be giving a workshop inspired on this theme. People will be able to know some curiosities of the mysteries of this magical place learning how to express their view using acrylic technique on canvas.
BIO: Tarsila Schubert is a Brazilian-born street artist that has dedicated her life to art, having as inspiration the essence of the multi-diverse cultural background that she comes from. Her aim is to blend all the different inputs which we are confronted with every day in an apparently chaotic yet perfectly organized structure, while adopting strong colors that represent her personality and her traditions. Simple figures that united create a complex scenario, reflecting her strong personality in an apparently moderate appearance. She has collaborated in the years past with brands such as but not limited to: Hermès, Chrysler, Adidas, Red Bull, Nokia, Unilever, Dell and many more. She has been featured in the CNN, The Guardian, NBC, The National just to name a few, and her artworks have been exhibited worldwide including USA, Brazil, Italy, Portugal, UK, France, Spain, Cambodia, Lebanon, UAE, Kuwait and Jordan. Tarsila was the first woman to paint a Wall in Amman, Jordan in occasion of the FIFA World Woman Cup and has been invited in occasion of the Art Basel Week to embellish the area of Dorsey Park in Miami’.
