SAMANTHA DENNISON (ALBANY WA)
Samantha Dennison’s still life oil paintings are concerned with community, seasonality and the changes in light as the year progresses. The objects she paints are collected from her daily surroundings; they reflect and narrate her life in the regional town of Albany, WA.
BRAD ROBSON (SYDNEY NSW)
Robson’s emotive portraits and vibrant cityscapes are a snapshot of a moment in time, a thought on what it means to be present. Urban spaces, the human psyche and pop-culture are key influences in Robson’s painting, but these symbols emerge out of the immediacy of his process.
BEAU BERNIER FRANK (USA)
Beau Bernier Frank, a 23-year-old French-American surrealist painter currently working from his studio in California, developed an autoimmune disease that meant he had to put everything on pause and reevaluate his life. He immersed himself in painting and made an overnight change to focus his attention to the creative arts as a means to cope with reality. Not being able to walk or work for several months gave Beau an opportunity to brainstorm and explore his artistic inclinations. He developed a new innovative and unique style of collages of landscapes with portraits. These paintings would mark the beginning of his new career as an emerging artist and the creation of his collection, “Off the Grid.”
